Weight Pull Challenge
Our task was to create a robot that could pull as much weight as possible. After using all of our pieces and adjusting the gearing of our robot we had created a robot that we believed could pull the most weight. The original challenge was a tug of war, unfortunately there were not enough opponents to compete. We switched our task to pulling as much weight as possible.
Pulling Robot
We removed most of the robot's speed to increase it's torque. We also put as much weight on it as possible to keep it pressing against the ground giving it more traction and making it more difficult to pull. We used the majority of the pieces we had available to create our robot. Our robot managed to pull my partner's computer along his desk.
